Each recommended daily dose (two capsules) contains 500mg Quercetin, 1000IU Vitamin D3, 40mg Zinc and 500mg Vitamin C. 1000IU is the highest amount of Vitamin D permitted for general use in Australian supplements. If you plan to take more than two capsules a day, discuss it with your healthcare professional first.
Take one capsule with breakfast and one with dinner. Quercetin clears the body relatively quickly (a reported half-life of roughly 11 to 28 hours), so splitting the dose morning and night keeps levels steadier through the day. Taking it with food also helps absorption, since Quercetin is fat-soluble, and Vitamin C may further support its bioavailability.
It's Vitashine, the world's only Vegan Society and Vegetarian Society registered 100% plant-source Vitamin D3, derived from algae rather than the lanolin (sheep's wool) used in most D3. Fully vegan, biologically identical to standard D3.
